The composite NYHAGUM® is produced as a semi-finished product by means of hydraulic laminating presses.
Generally, NYHAGUM® consists of phenolic-resin impregnated, firmly bonded paper layers that are used as carrier material an elastomer layer based on ethylene-propylene-terpolymers (EPDM) or isobutylene-isoprene-rubber (IIR) vulcanised onto it.
The electrical industry uses punched base laminate as end plug material of electrolytic capacitors.
